Frostpelt reached the border. He drew in the air though his lightly open mouth and soon detected a sweet scent in the Air he padded over to a tall plant with fern like leaves and small white flowers. That is just perfect! Frostbite settled down beside the plant giving his paw a quick wash while waiting for Stagpaw.

Stagpaw plodded behind Frostbite. His paws where growing weary, but he didn't want to go back to camp yet. He had learned so much today. Setting down his herbs he looked at the sweet smelling plant that Frostbite had seated himself next to.

"Ok Stagpaw this plant is called Chervil. We can use the juice of the leaves for infection, and chewing the roots helps with bellyache." Frostbite mewed. Its always great to be able to have one plant thats treats more than one thing. "Ok there has been a lot of information for today so is there anything you want me to clear up before we return back to camp?"Frostbite encouraged his Apprentice.

Stgpaw sniffed the chervil. "Can it be used for anything? Like if a cat gets a thorn in there paw? Or is it mostly for scratches? What will chewing the leaves do?" Stagpaw was relieved they where going baqck to camp, but he still had many questions.

Stagpaw frowned. "Then you would use juniper berries to cure the bally ache. Thats what you give elders who eat to much right?"

"Thats right. Now we need to get back to camp. You never know when our Clanmates might need us" Frostbite mewed approvingly as he set off for camp.

Stagpaw lept to his feat and picked up his herbs. He bounded off in the direction of camp glancing back to make sure that Frostbite was behind him. Dropping his herbs again he asked "Will we get to do battle training soon?"
